Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Well I wanted to get a 5870 at least, currently waiting for the fermi announcements so that the prices maybe.
I can't get an active one anywhere though, its sold out everywhere and nobody knows when there will be new units. :(
People said you notice the slow response time in games. Thats why I didn't go for the EA231WMi.
I'm on the fence with the Dell 2209WA. I need an adapter for it, it has a lower resolution (1680 x 1050) and a review on prad.de said it has high input lag. Now the post linked by Dr.Pants said...
Question: I heard the input lag of the 2209WA is pretty bad and that "hardcore gamers" should rather go for a TN panel. Does anyone use this monitor for heavy gaming? Wanted to get 3 of these for eyefinity.
That sounds good. However, it says available in February, but I still don't see them available. And then there is the question if the ms are good enough for fast gaming.
That one doesn't have a display port though. If I use a DP to DVI adapter, will I lose picture quality, or is it very expensive, or otherwise not recommended, or can I get 3 x 2209WA and an adapter and be happy?
Well the keyboard sounds rather gimmicky, and the idea of the mad katz thing sounds exactly like what we have now with Ambx. Also, did anyone try it with Audiosurf? Didn't see that on youtube yet.
The only thing putting me off right now is that purple thing. If you look at the pictures in...
They are not 20 bucks here but rather 45, and that is much to me, if it is spent on stuff I won't use.
I googled around and found out that you can build these systems yourself, with LED strips attached to the back of your monitor. While they look great, that solution is out of my price range...
So you wouldn't recommend to buy it for gaming only? I'm not really interested in the mood light factor as much as I'm interested in the gaming thing. And what you said in the first post sounded quite good.
But also there I saw that they show purple instead of red for example in the fire...
Since there is no support from them, there is no way to run it with DX 11 games, or the dx 10s that arent working? How do people watch DVD's with this then, when it needs driver support?
And what did they do to set it up in a wrong way? In almost every video it is purple half of the time...
I'm looking for a 3 x 22 inch setup that doesn't break the bank. I don't want TN panels though. I scouted around the web for a week now but didn't really find something excellent.
I'm from Europe too, so I can't order from the dell outlet and such.
