Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
indeed it is 60hz per eye but it does feel more like 120hz than 60hz. by all means get it, it's worth it for Tomb Raider alone, most amazing experience I ever had in gaming by a very wide margin, but know that the 3d vision software team at nvidia is the most incompetent group of retards of all...
you mentioned arcade games, is this your main focus? if so, many will agree that such games (codemasters, need for speed and the like) often have very poor force feedback and wheel response, they're made for gamepads and it shows, and you might be disappointed with your high cost purchase...
is this your first wheel? if so, let me offer an alternative: the logitech driving force GT, which can be found second hand in good condition for very cheap, well under $100. the wheel offers fantastic driving performance, on the same level as the g25/27 with more than enough ffb strength, and...
I'm just glad that the best of console gaming nowadays happens on PC, I hope it will remain the same in the future. My current best game ever is Tomb Raider, a perfect marriage of desirable console gaming principles applied to a far technologically superior PC environment.
the pc used to be the main platform of innovation in video games. well, it actually still is, but the pc gaming crowd certainly thinks otherwise. 3D, arguably the most important development in gaming technology in the past 15 years, apparently "sucks". meanwhile, a cut-down version of 3D, the...
Yeah, Valve are out of the game making business, that's why 4 of the 5 most played games on Steam at the moment are Valve games. I want HL3 (or even Portal 3) as much as the next man does, but to claim their multiplayer game successes are irrelevant is folly.
rFactor 2 is probably the most solid force feedback driving experience right now, has eyefinity, and doesn't require the same amount of hardcore dedication as a game like iRacing.
You guys are all welcome to join the 3D Vision community instead, we've been having an absolute blast these past 5 years, and with all types of games not just first person.
trine 2 is a sight to behold indeed. truly marvelous visual experience.
I would add alice madness returns to the list, as well as titan quest immortal throne, sonic allstars racing (the first one), sonic generations, starcraft 2, portal 2 and dirt 3.
My guess is that most of the dev team who do play the game use the hood cam, like I do as well, and figured it would save them some development resources by removing what was essentially a gimmick, as it was so useless in its implementation. Yes, it did look really cool, especially in 3d vision...
cockpit view camera position in grid and dirt series is atrocious, you can't adjust your seat and they basically made it as badly placed as they could. maybe you wouldn't know if you never played racing simulations, but, yeah, it's really poorly done and basically just for show in those games...
still trendy? 3d is the new standard. I don't know anyone who has experienced 3d properly and wants to go back to 2d which looks completely flat, lifeless and non-immersive in comparison and without any benefits.
josejones what do you think about the unreal tournament and quake series? have you ever played tribes or tribes 2? cause, yeah, as someone said, there are reasons why we can't bring ourselves to care one bit about halo.
