In my experience, when I built a computer and used the stock Intel cooler, everytime i turn the computer on the fan starts at what sounds like 100%, and then slows down. But it sounds like a mini vacuum cleaner.

Like Trentchau was saying, it really depends what games and resolution you plan to be playing. I had a 7850 die on me recently in a spare PC, and my friend gave me a 750ti to replace it. As generous as that was, I've been so used to gaming a 970 on my main PC, I think seeing the 750ti compared...

I put an MSi 960 in my friend's computer a couple weeks ago. I really like the LED on the side of the card, and it looks even sweeter with that SLI bridge lit up!

Great looking case. Glad they put the black strip in the window to block the lower compartment, but I wonder if there was a reasoning of just not making the window shorter.
