In my experience, when I built a computer and used the stock Intel cooler, everytime i turn the computer on the fan starts at what sounds like 100%, and then slows down.
But it sounds like a mini vacuum cleaner.

I put an MSi 960 in my friend's computer a couple weeks ago. I really like the LED on the side of the card, and it looks even sweeter with that SLI bridge lit up!

Great looking case. Glad they put the black strip in the window to block the lower compartment, but I wonder if there was a reasoning of just not making the window shorter.
