    Thanks to both of you for the suggestions and advice. I'm not gonna be ready to OC parts right out of the box so I'm going to stick with the Asus board and i5 3570K, but I'll definitely take a look at the suggested video cards. Thanks.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, there's a micro center about 45 minutes from me in the burbs. (St. David's). I definitely don't want to OC at the beginning, but I'd like to leave my options open if it makes sense to OC down the road. If I decided to OC I'd go back and get an aftermarket fan...
