Maybe I have mentioned it wrong, but my switch has a static IP outside the DHCP Range.

As I read everywhere that this piece is nearly unbreakable I bought a used one from ebay.
When I got it, it had a P.1.1. Firmware, so I upgeded to the latest P.2.2 via 2.1 ....bla bla
