Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yes, it was the advanced menu setting I tried to refer to. Did not know it's gone from the wuxi2's.
Have you got the monitor in better shape by calibrating, or are you just waiting out a replacement? I must say the pictures were alarming. From this forum I've understood that the IPS...
Can your problems have anyting to do with the E-switch in the OSD? Turn ON for enabling use of the software. Maybe this is the only "lock" NEC puts on the hardware?
See Albovin's review on the (old) 2490 SV here on the forum for OSD-buttons.
Thanks for your posting, all.
I've been just about to purchase the 2490 after seeing lots of good words here, but really been wondering weather the A-TW would disappear on the new line. It seemed kind of important... Albovin reported that it would disappear from the 2690Wuxi2, I had a slight...
Thanks Surly73!

But do you know why NEC has abandoned...
I've read and followed threads..... and checked prices here in Norway. Seems like the 2490 will get me well above 2.000 USD, if I get this right. But do you know; is the tested and mentioned 2490WUXi (with the H-IPS panel and A-TW polarizer) the same as nec's SpectraView2490? (And similar for...
Thanks! I have seen the review (which was how I came over this forum), and I see your point, and that it is probably well founded. When looking for a distributor for that NEC here in Norway, I think I ended with a quite higher price than the Eizo. But I'll give it another try.
I thought...
About to purchase a 24" display for work, I wonder if anyone have experience or comments to this display. I do primarily CAD-work and design, and a fair bit of photoediting as well. But regarding the ColorEdge-line a bit too expensive compared to my needs. Thankful for help!
