    I have built about 20 systems using the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum board (which are now discontinued I think) and thats what is in my system right now. All of them have Suse installed on them and none of them have had any issues...so i/m/o I think they are solid. I can't say the same about Tyan...

    Tyan S2915 ? nice board to slap a nice beefy PCI-E gfx card in! ;) The 4985 is still a bit buggy...Im fixing to RMA one that couldnt handle all the 667 memory it had...its dead :( Still a rockin case man....Thats a case I'd buy just to stick in my closet for future use :p

    If you have tried out both sticks of memory individually and theres still no output to video,..then try a different power supply if you have one. If you do not...then unplug the power cord to the PC and hold down the power button for a couple seconds (with nothing plugged in) so it will flush...
