I'm not using any graphics card at all. I'm not using my personal computer. I'm using my PS3 with hdmi connected to a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. The displayport end goes to the monitor. The monitor says "no signal" I have it to the right source on the monitor's menu....still no picture. help...

No. It has DisplayPort; DVI-D; VGA. If it had HDMI i wouldn't be asking for help.

I just wanna add,,, Just because theres way to fix the problem, doesn't mean there shouldn't be lawsuit. Samsung need to be responsible for their lack of quality parts that their TV uses regardless if those parts are replaceable by the end user...

Yes, some people can fix the caps problem themselves but this is about doing the right thing for the consumer & Samsung has been looking the other way about this issue for a very long time.
