Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a 7950 Vapor-X and even with the stock clocks there are artifacting issues. The card will run seemingly fine for a good while and then suddenly I get a hard lock or it starts artifacting like Indiana Jones.
I've made a bunch of adjustments and it's not looking good. I'm thinking I...
So, a few months ago I decided to defect from the AMD side and purchase a 660ti. It was great and all, but for how much it did, it wasn't really worth the price. I himmed and hawwed, but I realized that I couldn't just abandon my roots, especially when they had better performance at a cheaper...
Now that I have a taste of the relative power of the 660ti, I plan to pick up 2 more when I get some more dosh. I've seen some reviews of 2-way on the 660ti, and the returns are fantastic (20% more expensive than the 680, but more than 20% in returns). I haven't seen much on 3-way SLI, though I...
So what are the actual realistic returns on a 3-way SLI setup? 2-way has huge gains, but 3-way seems to be in the ~15% range. Any good benches on this?
I'd assume so. My current PSU is 650w, and according to some calculations it SHOULD be able to do SLI. I'm likely going to upgrade right away so I have room for triSLI, though.
So, as you might deduce from my username, I am a defector from team red now on team green. I used to own a 6870, and the upgrade with the 660ti was like a breath of fresh air.
I've seen some of the benchmarks for the 660ti SLI and it looks pretty promising, what are your takes on it?
