    Very strange problem with HDD and Asus mobo

    I'm not too happy with Western Digitals. I've literally had 3 of 4 HDs die on me in a RAID 1+0 config. Of course these drives were from 2001 and they died around 2 years later. Maybe things are different now, but I'm going with Maxtor & Seagate from now on. my 2 cents
