they're HTD Level 3's with upgraded crossovers. They're powered by a Onkyo Tx-Sr702 and are setup with an AV-123 X-sub, B&W CC6 (center), and a crappy pair of polk R50's for rears (not in picture).
I eventually intend to upgrade to a true pre-amp+amp and a pair of RBH 661-SE's for the fronts...
In my experience it's best not to put the two right next to each other in the series. The one time I tried it ended up burning out the one second in the line. My advice is to put the second pump midway through the line or at least one waterblock/res/rad later.
Should I feel odd that I'm not experiencing a single problem mentioned here? No buzzing, no banding (save in fear on high res), and no lighting issues. Was I just lucky?
