Far Cry 5 and Sea of Thieves Running in 8K

Is nobody going to mention how cringe-worthy is it to watch someone play a FPS with a controller on this kind of hardware??

Tesla Hid Easter Eggs In Its Latest Software Update

As awesome as that was (which it was awesome), I don't know how comfortable I am with an auto-manufacturer putting "Easter eggs" in the software of my car; especially one with self-driving features. :shifty:

What was the very first video card you ever bought?

AMD, never bought, but I've used them extensively. Enough to know that the end user experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And with the 260's, maybe you can't remember the time when there was no x70's range and that x60's were the second in line next to their flagship. As far as fiscal...

Which 980ti to buy - EVGA Ti SC+ ACX 2.0 vs MSI Gaming 6G

From what I've read, you'll probably to happier with the EVGA card. I used to own a MSI 980 Gaming 4G card which was absolutely fantastic; Quiet, fast, good overclocker. But it looks like that same Twin Frozr V cooler is a bit underpowered for cooling an overclocked 980 Ti. Most of the reviews...

Are the reference 980Ti's good cards?

I have an ASUS reference 980 Ti and I've been really pleased with it. Yes it runs a bit hotter and yes the fan is very audible when it spins up (mainly just the sound of rushing air), but for anyone with a small form factor case (I have it in a mini-itx build) the exhaust fan design is an...

    8GB GTX 970?

All depends on the price premium that extra 4GB demands. If it's $20-30, I say go for it. But it's more likely going to be $50-100, and in that case, no way. Personally I wouldn't hold my breath for a 8GB version simply because even with such a powerful gpu as in the 980gtx or 970gtx, I think...

    Silent 980

It would also help to list what kind of power supply you have. I quality power supply goes a long way in providing clean, ripple free 12v voltage, which would reduce the stress on your gpu's vrm possibly helping with any buzzing or coil whine.

    Silent 980

I own a MSI Gaming 980 with the Twin Frozr V cooler and I have been very pleased with it. I would say it matches your needs exactly; silent at idle, remarkably quiet under loads, and mine hasn't exhibited any sort of coil whine either. Personally I would highly recommend taking a look at one.
