Yep.
I used to have issues running at 2560x1600 on the 30" display until a couple patches ago as well. Im sure they will add in even higher resolutions later on once again.
Just need to tie up a few cable under the screens, put pretty much setup an running. I sure wish AMD would put out PLP eyefinity support. Minecraft for now!!
I haven't seen this report mentioned anywhere - it is related to 7950's, but the cooler in general on both the 7950 and 7970 model.

Where I would run the card for a few minutes...
Well NC IX Canada received 8 in stock this morning so I queued up and RMA for the one I have and ordered a new one on cross ship. I'll document the revisions numbers and temps after receiving the replacement in a few days.
How long were you with out your GPU when you RMA'd through Asus?
My big fear is RMA'ing it once a major title comes out like Guild Wars 2 and I want to do some serious gaming I could end up with out a card 6 weeks or something. (Being in Canada)
Running the card at 40% fan speed seems to make...
Ya I am extremely curious on why no one is reviewing this card to be honest. It almost seems like Asus NDA'd the reviewers, a few hundred shipped out, but the supplies got closed off.
I will be shipping my card back. I really want this card, so I hope to jump on a revised model.
I would like to see the results of your WC, as well taking detail to how the VRM's are cooled with the waterblock, would help identify if the stock cooler is just ineffective, or if the VRM's are poorly designed.
After some more playing around on stock clocks, my opinion at this point is that there seems to be a combination of design flaws. The first being, the VRM's run hot - it seems reference cards run in the 60's, the VRM seems to be designed to run hotter on the DC2T card. This comes into what I...
Just got my 7970 DU ii TOP and it is causing me a lot of grief right out of the box. Not over clocking, running Catalyst 12.3 drivers.
First game I started playing was BF3, played for about 10 - 15 minutes. I was running HWinfo64 to check out how things were looking stock out of the box.
I...
