    They're a publicly traded company so its their job now to be greedy af. I can just imagine a full screen Kohls or Target ad everytime I click to launch a game.     Solid deal on the 512. IMO the 500 Samsung Evo is a better deal when it goes on sale because you get an awesome 5 year warranty compared to 3 on the Transcend.

    They're made to excel in very high lit areas, so doubt they consider backlight bleed a defect on this line. Hopefully they let you return it, but they might want a "smoking gun" type of defect especially being a refurb.
