Microsoft Plans Antipiracy Update for Windows 7

Pain in the ass, I have a legit copy of 7 but it's 5 hours away. This is what I get for being too lazy to reformat my beta copy with the retail.

FTC Sues Intel for 'Anticompetitive Tactics'

I think in all fairness after that, for this sake of the thread, this topic should be dropped. Lollipop is obviously entitled to his own opinion, which he feels emphatically about, and no one is going to shift their political, philosophical, or economical views after reading a couple paragraphs...

FTC Sues Intel for 'Anticompetitive Tactics'

I think you misinterpreted my post? I'm also stating that Intel's actions have had negative effects for consumers.

FTC Sues Intel for 'Anticompetitive Tactics'

I find it hilarious when people argue about it being the nature of the business when we are the ones who get hurt. It's fine and dandy if you want to defend the most capable of exploitation, but don't run crying when you receive more than a trickle down effect.

Main HD isn't getting recognized after getting my external back

Yeah, most unfortunate... Luckily I backed up most of my information, and I have a backup drive to install a makeshift OS in the time being. ...except that for some reason my GPU isn't working, and the red light on it indicates its a power problem. This is really turning into a headache here...

Main HD isn't getting recognized after getting my external back

Yeah I looked into that, going to phone seagate today to find if I can apply a firmware update to a drive that isn't even recognized, or if I have to RMA a new one.

Main HD isn't getting recognized after getting my external back

I lent my external to my friend a while ago, and I got it back and plugged it in yesterday. I turned off my computer, and now my main HD isn't being recognized, although my second HD and external are, neither of which I can boot from. I checked boot order, and the main HD isn't an option anymore...

Should I buy on boxing day? (Canadian)

Video card mostly. I want a 260 gtx 216 for around $260, at the moment they're sitting at least $300. I might just end up pulling the trigger on boxing day... I doubt the entire economy is going to receive a drastic boost on boxing day, and i7 will be expensive for a while to come.

Try to minimlize any sort of rattling or shaking, and make sure that you have it a tight area where it can't move. So if you hit a bump, it won't be unsecured and go flying into something. That said, you don't need to be unreasonable, cases do offer fine protection.

Should I buy on boxing day? (Canadian)

Actually the sales for Black Friday (at least here) were far from stellar, so I'm really hoping Boxing Day has something to offer.
