    Build-Log: 100TB Home Media Server

fantastic mobo troubleshooting and engineering work there. what would really piss me off would be if WD/Seagate/Samsung released a 10TB drive in a year or two...for a hundred bucks, lol.

Converting IDE drives out of NAS Server

I was recently given 2 Lacie NAS 1U rack servers (fully depreciated assets, lol) with 4 500GB (IDE :( ) Seagate drives in each for a total of 4TB. Each unit has a gigabit NIC. http://www.lacie.com/us/products/product.htm?pid=11202 My question is, should I break out the drives and *try*...

    Where are the new chipsets?

Wasnt there suppose to be new chipsets coming out? Its been a long time since anything new was released. I was sooo looking forward to the RD8xx series from AMD. I really don't want to waste money on a board that has over 50% of its connectors as legacy connectors. I have no PCI cards, i have...

    Hyundai W241DG: 24 inch IPS, <$500

Thanks for replying. My old Dell 2007WFP was not automatic as well. you would have to rotate via drivers in WinXP. Still, this monitor is pretty freakin sweet considering its price point and panel. I'm just trying to find someone that actually carries them!

    S-IPS, H-IPS Monitor / Panel List

The one thing I liked about pchardwarehelp was that it gave you an idea of what pricing was going to be like. Alot of times, people dont realize the pricing relationship between the different panels.

    S-IPS, H-IPS Monitor / Panel List

I thought this was pretty clean cut and I dont know whether its updated regularly, but everything seems in order. I would presume most people coming the Display Forum would be looking for a med to high end screen, so I thought I should share this IPS panel list...as the current sticky was...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

been waitin a long time to replace my 20 incher from Dell. my old IPS 2007wfp was sold for the same price that I bought it a year and a half ago! LOL! IPS screens are better than gold these days, and its hard to find something half decent that will sustain a range of features found on other...

    Gmail Drive down?

    interchangeable 2.4ghz CPU's?

your right about the cooling. I just wanted a little boost on the lappy since it would never use it as a traveling pc, cus the battery is already dead. Anywhoo the CPU that I was gonna pop in would have damaged the board probably, since it is a P4-E 2.4ghz prescott. Thanks for your advice.
