I would have to agree, also I got a better deal on L90D+, $374 shipped through amazon which is just using TigerDirect, but the shipping was cheaper doing it through amazon for some reason. There may be better deals, but that was the best one I found on a quick search.
I am using a L90D+ as I type this message, and I will tell you there _IS_ a difference between analog and DVI. Some people don't seem to notice it, but its definately noticeable to me. There is a text sharpness difference and a temperature color difference that can't be fixed with the...
Is this even an question? Man if I could I would run 10 monitors. =) I monitor a lot of servers though and love to fullscreen Remote Desktop on each screen and I am also a programmer among other things.
Dual monitors is a _minimum_ for me now. 3 is my favorite so I can have one dead...
FYI, The Samsung doesn't have DVI though. That matters a lot to me. Otherwise I would agree.
Something to consider though is that 8MS PVA Panels of all sizes are coming out in the next few months that will be very nice!
I called up Samsung and they gave me some crap about how they haven't finalized the specs on any of the new monitors and have no idea when they will come out. Pretty much just tried to run me off the phone with an attitude. Jeez.
I wonder if this guy even knows about the CeBIT where they...
I did some digging and found a Driver and Manual for the 193P PLUS on samsung's website.
Manual:

Well I was hoping someone that already owned one would speak up or someone with some inside knowledge on these monitors.
Also, would LOVE to know exactly what panel the new revision is using. If its the new Samsung PVA, that would make my day!
The link to that panel is here...
The L90D+ is using an older TN Panel. Not really sure why Samsung decided to release a 8MS TN Panel and then a much better PVA panel a few months later. Maybe a consumer and pro line?
The L90D+ and other 19" 8MS currently are using this panel: (notice B-TN II)...
Here's a link to some pictures of the new 17 & 19" Samsung Monitors using the new 8MS PVA technology.. True 16.7M colors and great angles..

Anyone know when we can expect these to actually be available? Or any other manufacturers using these...
lol, running this thing in portrait mode is almost a joke =) I am doing it right now.. it looks and feels ridiculous and there is a negative side effect, I can see the pixel grid lines more easily this direction for some reason..
Oops, this is correct, I read your post wrong. I assumed you were asking on whether to hook your DVI LCD up to the DVI or Analog port on your vid card. DVI only matters on DVI -> DVI connections to my knowledge.
Yes I am too very interested. Anyone actually get one of these "8-16MS" versions and see if it is indeed that much better than the old 25MS version?
And does anyone know how to make sure you got the faster version?
