I agree with you. There has been no reason for game makers to push the limits really since most games are made for both PC and the consoles. lets face it the video on the 360 and PS3 were obsolete when they released them.
This is for the Alpha version only. It doesnt suprise me that the Alpha wont support windows 8. i am sure the beta will support it. I have played Alpha releases before and for the most part they are not a fun thing to play.
I put win 8 PRO 64 bit on my flash drive and downloaded all of my games and put them on a 750 gig sata drive. and i still have 24 gigs of free space on my SSD. Windows is running really fast and have tested games and they work well. no problems. SSD's are the way to go. :D
