They really don't SLI them. They are there for the monitor support. With four you get eight monitor support so its really nice for day traders and such. Anybody who needs more then the normal two monitors. Well I see that you mentioned that yourself. LOL Slow to the draw.
Well then its simple most computer speaker systems come with color coded cables that correspond to the jacks on the back of the card. If they don't then it still pretty simple the green jack is for the front speakers. So that will be what you want for a 2.1 system. Well for a budget like that...
I agree with you completely! I been reading this forum and hardocp since 99 and I am no newb but sometimes the answers given on here are overly complected (deliberately so).

I have the MX5021 and love them! I got them last week at a pawn shop for 30 bucks. The were a little beat up, but sound great. I haven't heard the z5500 so I cant give you an opinion on them, I did have a pair of z4's and they sound okay. If there was one thing I would change about the MX's it...
Well the marshmallows don't sound bad if you do a few mods. If the Bose sound anything like their big brothers then they are a bargain for the price. I just wanted to see what some other people think.
I know the general consensus on Bose headphones are that they are over priced for their sound quality, but if I was able to get them for say $33 do you think that would be worth it? I need a set of in ears that are under $50 bucks. I have a pair of JVC HA-FX34's but I don't really like the way...
