    That dreaded 0x101 BSOD

OK, since 8-8-8-24 didn't help I set the RAM to 11-11-11-25. Now it seems stable, two days without a single BSOD. I gotta check these sticks later, but so far it seems it really was them. Thanks! :)

    That dreaded 0x101 BSOD

Now I got BSOD 0x50 with dxgmms1.sys while playing Diablo 3. Any ideas?

    That dreaded 0x101 BSOD

Oooh! Thanks! I didn't touch the RAM even once, because I wanted a rock solid CPU first. I didn't know that the manufacturer could put in defaults that were too tight. I'll try that. -- edit -- I did the switch, but I also noticed the default voltage was 1.6. Won't 1.5 be more crash-prone...

    That dreaded 0x101 BSOD

Hello, I've been overclocking my 2500k since I bought it over half a year ago (I've run it @ stock for like 5 minutes). At first I OCd it to 4.6 GHz, but I've been getting a lot more 0x101s than I wished for and I didn't want to increase voltage any more (Ideally I'd want to run this rig at...

Looking for a new mobo - ASUS P8P67 Deluxe fried

Well, my store still has the mobos supplied. I understand these are what's left of all of them lingering in their warehouse, but still they're definitely not used, under warranty and all that. Also, I'm well aware of the early revision bug and my Deluxe was a rev3. :) Anyway, if I decided to...

Looking for a new mobo - ASUS P8P67 Deluxe fried

Yeah, I thought about it, but it's $60 more. I'm not planning on switching to Ivy Bridge and when I upgrade I always buy a new mobo anyway, so I don't want to futureproof. I just want the exact same performance I had with the Deluxe and maybe something extra. Does the Z77 Sabertooth have...

Looking for a new mobo - ASUS P8P67 Deluxe fried

Hello, I RMAd my fried mobo and they couldn't fix it, the shop I bought it at also doesn't have any more of them, so they're giving me my money back. Before it died I was using it for a stable OC of a 2500k @ 4.5 GHz, and my GPU is a 570 GTX. P67 Sabertooth is worth now exactly what...

    0x101 with 2500k

Thanks, re-enabling PLL overvoltage did the trick. No 0x101s for me now for the last week. Not the best chip this one, 4,5 GHz @ 1.37v with PLL ATM. Still, it does the trick. Now I need some time to jump from straight OC to offset for low volts at idle.

    0x101 with 2500k

    Hello, I bought the following rig over a month and a half ago: - 2500k - P8P67 Deluxe - Gainward GTX 570 Phantom - G.Skill DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 1600 MHz RipjawsX CL7 - Corsair 650HX - Crucial M4 128GB - Windows 7 Professional x64 The CPU is cooled by Mugen 2 and the temps are...

560 Ti, noise and other stories

Bump. Guys, please, I'm going to buy this rig tomorrow and I'd like to know more, since I live in a country where returning a card/cooler just because it doesn't fit is not possible. That's why I have to be sure. So, for now - Gigabyte is the prime candidate, still, it's not completely...

560 Ti, noise and other stories

Are you sure the Accelero will fit? Because, AFAIK it won't if, for example, the core is moved somewhere closer to the ports, and this can happen on non-reference designs. Like in this touching story. I couldnt google anything about MSI TFII fitting with this cooler, thus I'm asking here. I'm...

560 Ti, noise and other stories

Well, Arctic only says "reference board". Also, EK is water cooling, you'd be hard pressed to find something better or on par with Arctic as far as air is concerned. Of course, if you have any suggestions, do tell. AFAIK EVGA uses reference boards for their non-OCd cards, but that's the limit of...

560 Ti, noise and other stories

Certainly, someone has to know what brands use reference design or are close enough for the Twin Turbo to fit? I also changed the topic to better reflect the issue now.

560 Ti, noise and other stories

Wow, that's great, I read the review and this seems better suited to my needs. Unfortunately, I live in Europe, so it's 40 € here. Still, it's a nice price. About that brand now... the cheapest 560 Ti I see now is a Zotac one, very nice price. Will the cooler fit with this card...
