Which HDD's You using when they drops ? Guess that you loose data too. Have BBU ?

H3llo ppl! Have a small problem, planing to buy SAS/SATA controller and expander too. Have a lot of music and have 2 WD Green 2TB hdds but on this Intel board dont have enought SATA ports. Found SAS controller LSI 3082E-R 8-port PCI-e x4 cheaply but don't have posibillity to test with expander...

if use BBU, still will drop ? read on technical data review that it support 2tb and larger hhd's but don't remember that i saw a list of hdd support

I'm planing to buy 3ware 9550SXU 12-port sata controller. Get a BBU for it too and set a few wd 2tb EARS hdd's on it, set on JBOD. Does the anyone try something like this ?
