Why is it that people feel it to be absolutely necessary to OC? I mean, I could see doing it when games start to chug down to 30fps, but other than that you aren't getting all that much gain out of OCing, especially with a high end card. I guess its the reasoning that if one CAN overclock, why...
I've got my xfx ti4200 clocked at 318/550 though haven't really tried to do anything higher. It runs FarCry with full grfx settings @ 1152x864 4x AA 4x AF with playable framerates(like 30-40fps). So i suppose thats good for the age of the card.
I have my old 60mhz 486 sitting next to me with a rage 128 16mb AIW card. Thats about the only good about it. the rage 128 was an awesome card. Oh, i also added 256mb worth of simms. :P gotta love this 540mb WD hdd tho.. mmmm old school...
