Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Damn... the drives are OK. I wouldn't think it's the IDE cable, since I was noticing instability a couple months back and swapped the ide cables between my cd and my hd's, though it is a possibility until both cables are replaced.
I have a system that's a few years old, and in the last two months I've had two hard drives crash on me. What I'm wondering is - is it likely just plain bad luck, or is it possible that my old Enermax 350w is somehow dying and supplying dirty power now?

One thing is for certain. I woulnd't be buying any ATI shares right about now. If someone were smart, take a short position, cover that short once the 3rd quarter loss is reported, then buy some shares to capitalize on the upswing. One thing is for certain, ATI is NOT done in the desktop...
Jesus... you people are quick to forget past history. 1-2 generations of cards does NOT mean the end of ATI. If you all remember, both ATI AND Nvidia had paper launch problems with the last generation of cards. And if you look at things as they sit right now, it arguable that ATI's current...
Yeah... he's our corporate account rep. I just e-mailed him and said I want one at home and asked him what the best price he could swing was - $1050 cdn.
I'd recommend just calling and saying 'I know these things are selling for this and it's what I'm prepared to pay'. Sooner or later I...
Woot! I finally bit the bullet and ordered this monitor. My dell rep sent it for $1207.50 cdn including taxes and shipping :D
I can't wait to try it out.
