    I dont think the fluid I want to use will gunk up my system.. i have looked into it extensively and mayhem himself states that it will not and its been used for 3 years+ with no problems. Obviously some dying of blocks and tubing would occur before this.. I might just go with ek acetal copper...

    When you install windows 7 in ide mode it disables the ahci driver, because it doesn't think it will need this driver. Take a look at - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976 Try putting the bios back to ide, mode and changing it with that support article and there are other guides out there...
