    Agreed, the stock HSF is the minimum, but if all I need is to make sure it makes a better fit with some sort of mounting kit, I'd like to try that before I buy a $80 aftermarket cooler.

    I dislike the pushpin mount on the stock cooler for my i7 860. Is it possible to buy some sort of backplate or bolt thru kit that works with the stock heatsink fan?
