    I remember I had this problem when I tried to overclock the display with the including DP cable....I would try making sure the display isnt overclocked in the menu settings and also reset the display. Then after that is done make sure to unplug the monitor from the outlet as using the power...

    is anybody noticing any flickering in games? Ive recently noticed flickering in Just Cause 3 with the latest geforce hotfix drivers. Weird thing is it flickers only in 144hz but not when I set it to 120hz. Battlefield 1 seems to run fine so far, havent tried any other games yet.

    Interesting.....just for curiosity are you using the original dp cable? Ive ordered the accell ultraav dp cable from amazon as it seems to be the best to resolve connectivity issues.

    has anyone tested 165z vs 144hz? I currently have mine set to 144hz as I noticed some flickering on screen....I ordered the accell ultraav displayport cable to hopefully correct this problem. Also wondering if anyone has managed to overclock the display to 165hz without using the unplugging...

    Yup well looks like they sent me a refurb never again buying directly from dell....in order to resolve the 165hz issue I needed to change to 165hz in monitor menu then instead of rebooting on screen I literally just unplugged the power then that got it to work properly .     I just received my s2417dg and I cant seem to get the 165hz overclock working.....has anybody with this monitor been able to get that refresh rate? Every time I overclock it on the monitor menu the monitor doesn't connect to my gtx 980ti, it just says its in power saving mode and it has a blank...
