Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I second that. What are the settings that you guys are using in the driver and on the video card?
Also, when you received your monitor was it set at 50 contrast, 50 brightness? Mine was and as a result when I got it out of the box it looked really bad.
What video card do you have? I have a ATI 9700PRO and my L90D+ looks like crud in many zones of WOW. In particular, blasted lands looks horrid. I have to hotkey between different modes so I get a reasonable setting that doesn't look terrible
How does blasted lands look on the 2001FP? You mention a red bias so does it look particularly bad? If possible could you put up a screeny of both with blasted lands?
So I purchased a L90D+ and unfortunately I'm really disliking it. I went from a crt to a lcd so I'm quite biased but anyways here's my problems:
1) WOW looks ok on some levels and horrid on others. Blasted lands for instance is all bright orange/red. The colors just look "off". How do you...
Yah I suppose my colors could be way off but how do you tune them so they are correct? Should you have to tune them? If I'm finding that red is far too red, blue seems a bit too bright, and black seems too dark, what do I change? ;)
What's a color sypder do? I might want to try it on my system and see if the colors are off.
I'm using a DVI input and I finally got around to installing the LCD driver / colormap. It improved things somewhat, but what I really found that helped was the color options in my advanced color...
Anyone else play WOW here? I'm finding some severe color problems. The blasted lands for instance looks orange, except for the dark parts, which appear far too dark. It's almost like the entire colormap with the LCD is too extreme.
How about call of duty? I'm finding some of the dark maps...
Ok I just got my L90D+ and I'm having some difficulty with it:
1) I find that it's really bright and turning down brightness has little affect. I can turn it down to 0 brightness and contrast, and at this point it's only just getting reasonable.
2) The bottom part of the screen seems to...
Well now I'm even more confused. I'm thinking of a ImageQuest L90D+ 19" LCD Monitor w/ Speakers, 8ms and DVI. Apparently it's newer and also cheaper, here are the specs:
19", 300 cd/m^2 brightness, 8ms response, 1280x1024 max resolution, 700:1 contrast ratio, analog/dvi connectors, no USB...
Ok so I'm considering the purchase of a Dell LCD monitor but I'm confused as to what I should purchase. I've noticed that a lot of people here seem interested in the 2001FP and 2005FPW, but what about the regular 19" monitors? They are almost half the price yet nearly all of the same features...
