Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The only change is the video card, getting this one instead.

Does anyone see any problems with this setup in terms of compatibility?

Oh, so that's okay?
I am sort of new to the world of memory and when I saw two chips giving multiple readings it sort of freaked me out a little bit.
Thank you for the help.
I recently installed another gigabyte of RAM on my rig and I am getting these "weird" readings in CPU-Z, if someone could clear it up for me I would really appreciate it.
Also the specs of my computer are in my signature if anyone needs it.
Thanks.
It isn't hard but the one thing you want to keep in mind is room, you have to make sure you have enough room between slots to fit a larger heatsink. The stock hs/fan on my X800 is very thin, an aftermarket GPU cooler is almost always going to be larger and space between slots is usually very rare.
Your AMD 64 3500+ is idling at 53C?!?! I don't know if it's me but that is quite high, my 3500+ idles at 35C and I am using AS5. What are they under load?
I would say use a blow dryer or heat gun and attempt to heat up the "melted" part enough to remove it, I haven't had that kind of problem before, wait for some more opinions on what to do.
Any pictures of it?
