Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If it is set to auto speed control, I would think there is a setting to change the threshold. I am not sure, I have four different options for speed control on my DQ6. I just have it disabled anyway.
I hate most benchmarks. Simply because they never put all the processors near that range in there. In that benchmark, he only tests the E6700 and E6400.. well what the hell happened to E6600 ? It fits right in there but doesn't get benched.
my E6600 was idling at 40° C with stock cooling and stock clock speeds
with my zalmon 9500 and AS it idles at 32° C @ 3.0ghz with EIST enabled.. and never goes over 60° C under load with orthos or prime
I dont think full load temperatures on a stock heatsink get above 45° C anyway... why lower the voltage to run at stock speeds? Heat really isn't a problem.
You will lose the raid configuration anyway. Plan on that. The raid is configured by the bios.. so when you switch to another motherboard.. cya. It has no idea that the drives are in raid array.
