The slightest amount of delay will kill your jumps, I have a plasma screen and i tried it, it was near impossible to play.
btw is 35Ms the same thing as input delay?. I heard they were diff but i thought the guy was wrong, however i have no clue.
Not the point, i mean ripping bluray movies and burning the image onto HD-dvd disks.
HD-DVD players cost much less than bluray. So doing this method would save you the cost of having to buy a bluray player.
Thanks for all the help. I think plasma is the way to go. new plasmas having burn in problems is a myth. Burn in was starting to become a thing of the past going into 2006 and now that were going into 2009 its basically not even an issue anymore.

Hd-dvd player = a pirates dream machine it would seem. Y haven't i heard about anyone doing this?.

Sry no i cant, i dont have the particular monitor, But i could advize a few things.
Turn down the brightness in the control panel turn up the brightness on the monitor and adjust the digital vibrance till you get to a setting thats optimal.
Also you might wanna mess with the gamma and...
Y not lol, Lcd have crappy viewing angles. Also my current plasma ive had for 2 years has not gotten 1 burn in and ive been playing games on it like crazy tho it has lag for some reason )-:.
