Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey mattinv
I sent you a PM, but this might be easier... you mentioned not to place an order for the boxes that are listed "out of stock." I would like to know what process you would like us to use if we do want to order one, and what kind of lead time are we looking at currently...
I have the same problem. There seems to be a common thread for others with this issue, DX10.
I played DX9 today to see if it would crash and it did not. Mine starts stuttering a little about an hour in, then crashes after (upwards of 40 min?). Many are having the problem with different systems/...
Disabled VSYNC and tweaked the mouse settings a little. It certainly doesn't feel like TF2 or anything, but it works fine. Enjoying the game immensely.
Okay, I found the problem. I was looking at the specs for DCC, and it is older than the monitor. The pinouts on a diagram I found for VGA was helpful, since the cable I was using only had 14 of the 15 pins in it..!!! As soon as I swapped the cable for a VGA cable with 15 pins, voila!
CCC now...
Well, I have searched and not found anything, so here it goes.
I just got a 4870x2, and not being that familiar with the ATI software I went to work on installing things. I installed Vista 64bit, the ATI drivers (+CCC) and I noticed that in the CCC my video card just stays (Default VGA...
Excellent review as usual guys!
I am a fanboi based only on my wallet and performance, so I am very glad to see that AMD is back in the game. Looks like there is a 4870 in my future after quite a long spell of NVIDIA GPU's.
Huzzah for competition!
I hate to be a pessimist, but I doubt they're doing it to enable you to upgrade over time. Hell, the last thing a manufacturer wants you to do is incrementally spend small amounts on upgrades. They want you to buy a new machine ever year or so. They probably (and I hope I am wrong here) add that...
I am addicted to TF2 ATM. Playing on a server with ppl who know how to play makes it insanely fun and challanging. Were it not for that, I would have picked up UT3 by now.
Maybe in a few months...
Gooch, the horse goes in front of the carriage. It is a matter of fact that software can always out pace hardware, especially when it comes to games. These guys are trying to sell engines, not just a game, and that engine needs to have a life of it's own for at least a few years.
Hell, I...
