    No 1:1 mapping mode for Nvidia cards?

    If you go the nvidia control panel and click flat panel scaling, choosing the "do not scale" option would give you 1;1 scaling wouldn't it? Atleast I think that is what you're after.

    HL2.exe has stopped working

    agreed, go into account settings and turn off User Account Control. Also, I often get this error message after closing source engine games. I don't care too much though, as I can still play fine.
