Smart idea . . but ouch early adopting is expensive . . $20 at Frozen for 3 connectors PLUS buying one of the newegg options is more than I'm willing . .might break down and get one of the external powered hubs I've seen.- 1dc

True . . extra front 3.0 ports are the goal . . if there are at least 2 of those on a card reader I might get it (as long as it uses internal connector and price isn't much). Would be fine if the card reader plugged into onboard 2.0 connector as long as I get new USB 3.0 with it. Open to a hub...- 1dc

First 3 tests of forced sleep have all been perfect wake-ups . . LAN woke it up for backup this AM. Thanks! PSU is OCZ ModXStreamPro 700W. PS - Do you know if anybody is selling an internal USB 3.0 hub/combo card reader that plugs in the onboard 3.0 20 pin header?- 1dc

Wondering if the following is common with those having restore from sleep problems? If I power down board goes into hibernate, power on will bring normal resume into windows . .this is after the machine goes to sleep from non-use, and when I use keyboard or mouse to un-sleeep the screen does...- 1dc

ASUS Official Z68 Poll
Am undecided . . . would like SSD caching but will wait to see how it goes out there . . . still haven't delved into why my P67 connected Vertex 2 took a big dump but it was great when it ran . . . using only the Hitachi HD the P67 is not running flawless . . .- 1dc

Microcenter Sandy Bridge Replacement Email
Glad it worked out ok . . MicroCenter has completely replaced Fry's for most of my PC purchases. Service has been great and so have core component prices. Fry's got a win for my new Samsung 51" plasma . . terrible service with simply awesome sale prices . . thank goodness DFW has at least 4...- 1dc

How long till AMD gives in to the giant from Santa Clara?

Had a somewhat similar problem when I didn't correctly seat a dimm after pulling it to place the CPU fan on after a B3 swap . . it was a deluxe and those q codes were handy. Good question. OP needs to provide more info on plans for the board especially video. For the other poster who wants 4.5 OC I'd do the Deluxe if it will be a continuous or heavily pushed. Otherwise the video and features might drive the choice.- 1dc
