Apple deletes iPhone apps if they are not updated enough

I just reinstalled a dumb mountain climbing game that got pulled off the store in like 2016. Still works in Android 12.

Is Apple actually attempting to make the iPhone 14 repairable?

Yeah. If anything, this is to make *Apple*'s job easier repairing the phone. I do like those board pictures. Someone spent a lot of time cramming those components in so densely.

Apple deletes iPhone apps if they are not updated enough

Unless things have changed enough with newer versions of Xcode and libraries that you can't recompile without errors, which happened to him. Pretty much every thing people have said here he addressed in the article, including the fact that the app, in spite of not being updated for 3 years, was...

Apple deletes iPhone apps if they are not updated enough

The article addresses this, and updates *did* break the app. It took him 4 hours (admittedly, not a ton of effort) to update the app and bump the version to 1.01.

    AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Reviews

My Gigabyte Z690I Ultra Plus DDR4 (itself a replacement for the badly-designed Ultra DDR4) took almost that long--and close to a minute to boot to Windows--and that was, as noted, with DDR4. It also took 30+ seconds to go to sleep or wake up from sleep. There was talk on some reviews of the...

Derbauer's already delidding them and got the temps to mid 70s with direct die contact. He didn't much talk about clock speed boosts or performance gains, said that was in the next video.

    AMD Ryzen 7000 Series Reviews

Ars Technica (I think, maybe it was Anandtech) has a review today. They say that you get like a 41% increase in MT perf at those stock (high) voltages and thermals, but if you enable the 65W Eco mode, you'll get...the same performance as the 5950X, but at 65W instead of 170 or whatever it was...

EVGA will no longer do business with NVIDIA

*shrug* I mean, it probably is, yeah, but at the end of the day if the password used there is unique, and they don't have my credit card #, I guess I don't care. It's just cringy.
