Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Heh - there's more intensity in a 4-player FFA match here, than a 64-players contesting for area "Bravo" in BF4, etc.
Simply no comparison.
That being said, this game is absolute golden. Felt SO right from the get-go, and had a blast the few matches I played!
You may be in luck, as Solen appears to have a pair of the Dayton B652s in stock:

Pair those with a t-amp, EQ the upper mids to get rid of the shoutyness, and you'll be golden. :)
This game is... painfully addicting!
Coming from a Quake/ UT background, I've only played Tribes for a tiny bit before. Definitely getting the hang of movement/ combat now.
BF3, you could only wish to be this fun, despite how pretty you are...

Still stuck at work, but would LOVE to try this as soon as I get home tonight (need my action, SKILL-based FPS fix, as BF3 pisses me off more than not, and QL... well, is QL, heheh).
If someone could please PM me a key, it'd be greatly appreciated! :)
That bench also indicates that the mins for the 2500k, FX and X6 are pretty much in line with each other.
The huge gap between avg(?) and mins for the 2500k is a bit concerning, though.
Agreed. Having the "center" sounds played through the front mains allows for seamless timbre matching, as well. For some reason or another (aside from placement), I've always found that "PC" speakers with identical drivers always sounded much different than their "center" counterparts...
I'm running a 4.1 bookshelf/ receiver setup.
I personally find out-of-phase sounds can only provide so much depth/ oomph, hence the necessity for rear speakers.
Should've gone this route a long time ago, TBH....
Indeed I did. It's been awhile since I've done research on sub-related stuff, I'll admit. :(
From a typical distance (which is what, 10 - 15'?), how much would the wattage difference make?
Update: I actually meant the STF-2, per my last line!
Please see this guy's impressions here (hint of salt, as always) - http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=14915280#post14915280.
We can get a general idea of enclosure strength by weight, assuming boxed-form.
I just wish...
I had to be careful and not use the word clone, hence settled for 'derived'. :)
Many were speculating that the spec differences (from the obvious, to the minute) could be there for legal reasons.
125w vs 200w: In the most extreme of cases, this should only translate to about 1-2 dB of...
I'm shocked to hear all this talk about the possibility of "overpowering" speakers.
Aside from DIY, one would have to pay a bit to obtain a good, clean low-end. Great bass can add so much to the experience, cheap speakers or not.
Sub calibration is key, no matter what. It's much better to...
Your first three sentences coming across as being factual, than rather of opinion, was my main concern.
My solution for the interim is as per my previous post: to double-check the mixer settings to make sure audio is being outputted to the right place.
I had a similar "no sound" situation...
