Thanks. It was either this or use tupperware. I wrapped more tape around the shroud this evening. Looks pretty nice now. Not as nice as 100% aluminum but it's at least 98% sealed.
I'm not going to mount it. It's going to be freestanding. It's way too big to hang off my Radbox.
I did rinse it out already but I think I already screwed up by using tap water. I did however blow it out with compressed air in my garage. It's completely dry now.
I got the idea last night from a member on another OC board and his write up on making a nice shroud. So I went out to Advance Auto Parts and Home Depot to buy a few things. I got a 77 Bonneville heater core and bought thin aluminum flashing so I could make the shroud. I chose the thin aluminum...
Strange I tell you.
My setup is Orthos stable (11 hrs 35 mins) and OCCT stable (7 hr run). However when I run 2 instances of Prime95 after 1.5 hours I get an error on one of them while the other one runs fine. It says something about number rounding. What could be the problem? Is my rig...
For example.. We isolate an OC problem and it happens to be voltage. As long as it's "stable" it doesn't matter what voltage it's at? Assuming temps are within range.
Been using OCCT for about a month now. I'm still new to everything but I must say it is a very valuable tool in OC'ing. Thanks for making this available to everyone.
I'm loving this board more and more. I just increased the FSB on my setup while leaving the voltages alone. It posted and loaded up XP. I had to increase Vcore on the other boards to even get it to post. Orthos is running now too. I'll update. Get the board.

Move jumper to 2+3
Turn on computer. No need to push F2 to get bios. It will automatically come up.
The Maintenance option should be visible now.
Change your settings and exit/save
The prompt will tell you to turn off your computer and move the jumper back to 1+2.

As soon as I redo my water cooling setup I'll do some more overclocking and will update. Right now I'm pretty safe where I'm at. I think this board can handle so much more if done right.
As far as the other two, I loved the DS3's bios setup. It seemed easier to navigate. It also had a...
Copying what I wrote on your other post...
I'm a relative noob and just began OC'ing my BX2 with E4300 last night. The manual is okay. There's a "hidden" maintenance bios option you have to unlock with the CMOS jumper on the board. It allows you to turn off C1E and watchdog which you need to...
