I think the a770 16gb card is a good alternative. sparkle model ROC is small and cools well.
A770 performs like a 6600XT in most games. And also still has a few too many graphical issues. I think I'd probably rather have a 12GB 3060, than an A770. Even though a 3060 is sometimes worse than a 6600 XT.

it's closer to the 6700xt. I have had zero issues. go look at the hardware unboxed video...

Looks like averaged out, it is fairing a little better than in the past (and so is the 6700 XT!). However, its solidly below 6700 XT in raster.

And it can also vary A LOT, on a game-by-game basis. There are indeed some games where it is more like 6700 XT or 3060 Ti. But most of the time, its closer/has improved to be closer to 4060 and 7600. But there are also some games where it is unusually poor performing, and sits down with a 3060. One of those games is Horizon: Forbidden West

Its a newer game. Hopefully Intel Improves that.

In Homeworld 3, its even worse than that.

For Ray Tracing, it would move up a bit, as it has good RT perofrmance, relative to the cards it competes with in Raster. And XESS is pretty good, now. So you could probably choose some balanced settings and have a good time with RT at 1440p/60, with XESS turned on.
