Where is Skyrim screenshot thread?

I always enjoy your pics Gionight, though I must admit, there's something about the women in them that's more disturbing than anything (and not just all the arse shots you do :p). Its like they've fallen into the uncanny valley or something, they've gotten to the point where they look close to real, but not quite close enough so they actually look stranger than if they'd just been caricatures. They make me think of manikins wearing heavy make-up, or a picture that has been airbrushed too heavily, or a robot wearing a fake skin that you half expect them to tear off and reveal a cold dead metal of skeleton. Its kinda like what I expect sex-robots to look like in the future :p

I have to disagree with you .
I'm trying to make my chars to look as realistic as possible with very restrictive Skyrim character editor, I am rather have them look like humans and not some humanoids from different planet , in this case you probably can't accept any CGI movies too if you think my chars to artificial, because in some shots they look at CGI level of quality .
But anyway thank you for your honest opinion :)

Most CGI doesn't bother me as most studios put a bit of effort into giving the faces of bit of grain/grit/life, though admittedly some CGI looks strange. Even in your images, the male human looks good, the Orc looks good, even the female elf looks good, its just the human woman looks... disturbing. Its probably just me :p

So is ENB series for Skyrim still restricted to Nvidia cards? I recall using ENB series for my 5870 in a few games.

No chance of a port to AMD hardware? That pretty much makes my next upgrade Nvidia for certain before I even play Skyrim once.
 
Someone want to link me to Giowhatevers mods/config files in this massive thread? Im sure he's said them before. In fact, I actually followed his post that listed the mods, but my game still looks nothing remotely like that.

No, he won't tell us himself. He says he's working on it and it's not ready. There have been a few links to some textures and some cryptic responses but he has never agreed to post a configuration file for the game or ENB, etc. The screenshots are gorgeous though. Because of him, I've decided I am not even going to touch Skyrim until this becomes common community knowledge and easily implemented as a mod.

I can't wait to upgrade my video card so I can run gionight's preset. One week. Soon...sooooooon :D I'll be starting my second playthrough.

Are you fucking serious? Get off it, dude. Read a few posts up. Not only did he share his presets WEEKS ago, but he has listed the mods in the past. They are popular mods such as HD 2K textures, Vurt's flora overhaul, realistic water, etc. Check out the Skyrim modding megathread. The very first post is regularly updated with the best and most popular mods, most of which gioight uses. It's not very difficult. I imagine it gets old being asked every day or so about what mods someone uses. Go check out the SKyrim mods thread and quit bitching at gionight. You may have been justified before when gionight was keeping his stuff to himself, but that is not and hasn't been the case for weeks now. Your posts about his screenshots are getting old as shit, laffles. You can stop your bullshit now.

Agreed.

And gionight, like me, doesn't use NMM to install (most) texture mods so remembering what texture mods are installed is not easy. Like radio stated, look in the modding thread here and the popular mods at the nexus.
 
Just personal preference. Some don't like to depend on an extra application to get their mods going and prefer to simply copy/paste files manually. There's no explicitly wrong or right way.

This are my main presets with two deferent palette textures one is "Cinematic" the newer version and another is "Original", It's 100% the same versions which I am using while taking my screenshots ENB -- 0.99v . This pack includes FXAA to balance colors and make nights darker, it's enabled by default you should use it only at night time, turn on and off by "Pause" key, also includes weather trainer from Alexander Blade you can change weather by "Page Up" "Page Down" keys.
For best image quality you should turn on IL in enbseries,ini this line at the bottom --> "ILAmount=0.0" change it to look like this --> "ILAmount=0.7" it's only for a day time use because IL effect start glowing at night. If someone want to decrease global saturation open "enbeffect.fx" find this line "float EColorSaturationV2=1.6;" 44-line in //v2 section and adjust it. You can also adjust "FXAA injector" for night times for your liking, make it darker/brighter and so on.
I also added my Skyrim "Hardcore" with "Performance" ini's with and without "uGrids and shadows" adjustments, you only need to write your own monitor resolution in "SkyrimPrefs.ini" and thats it.

Very Important!!! for Best image quality users with Nvidia cards should turn on 16X Anisotropic Filtering through Control Panel and if you have some powerful cards in SLI turn on SGSSAAx2 with NvidiaInspector , ingame AA needs to be MultiSample=2.
Check screencap from NvidiaInspector with my Nvidia driver settings.
Don't forget to turn off all monitoring programs EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner and so on,.
If you have saves with uGrids adjustment but you want to use default Skyrim.ini's you need to recover your saves, there is one effective method ( load the game with increased by you uGrids values... make sure to load the save you want.. alt tab out of the game... manually modify the skyrim.ini file to "uGridsToLoad=5" and the correct cell buffer to "uExterior Cell Buffer=36"... save the file... alt tab back into the game and use the console typing "refreshini" give it a moment.. and then attempt to save a NEW game.)
If your PC can't handle hight quality SSAO settings you have to decrease it just a bit in "enbseries.ini"

[SSAO_SSIL]
SamplingQuality=0 change to --> 1
SamplingRange=0.7
SizeScale=0.7 change to --> 0.5
SourceTexturesScale=0.7 change to --> 0.5
FilterQuality=0 change to --> 1
AOAmount=0.7
ILAmount=0.0

Also you can turn off SSAO altogether by changing this line in "enbseries.ini"
EnableAmbientOcclusion=true change it to --> false

INSTALLATION: Just put all this files(except Skyrim ini's) into your main game directory with Skyrim.exe .
Skyrim ini's copy/past with replacement in this directory C: User/UserName/ My Documents/My Games/Skyrim.

Thanks a ton for doing that! And...uh oh, my new card is an ATI card. I may not have paid much attention to talk of ATI card compatibility in the past because my current card is NVIDIA. Will your preset only work on NVIDIA? Are there any options for me here? Either way - I appreciate the effort :)
 
ENB is great for taking pictures with but I have yet to find a preset that actually improves the look of the game on an overall scale. Then there is also the fairly large performance drop (at least for me), even with SSAO and DoF off.
 
I think gionights preset looks wonderful in-game IMO. my framerates were 10 per second with my videocard so of course it wasn't usable but it looked excellent. Hopefully my new card will give me around 30fps.
