Newegg.com "Secret Deals" AKA the real Black Friday stuff

I'm debating one of the 3 laptops for my gf who doesn't need that much power. Do you guys think the Sony is a good deal?
 
good deals on some things, but still. Where's the good deals on video cards? I'm still not impressed Newegg.
 
Is the MSI 470 worth it at $180 after MIR? I know MSI is skeptical with rebates. Would be $215 otherwise?

How could MSI get out of a legitimate rebate?
 
That Intel 120GB is SMOKING, like an Athlon XP without HSF (8 seconds and it's gone).
$1.38/GB for an INTEL SSD is unheard of, I've never seen them even hit $1.50/GB. The 120GB size is also pretty desirable imho. Big enough to load a good number of programs, but it won't break the bank.

Good question. I bought my 4850 two years ago for $180, had a $30 mail in rebate.

I sent the right materials required, and when I asked about it 3 months later they denied I had the right items.

Then again I'm not the only one who has had issues with the Mail ins for them.

Still might jump on this 470.

Can my Corsair 650Tx handle that card if I oc it to 700-800?

that 47" TV is a steal. Good Brand, High Quality, WIRELESS ( which seems to work surprisingly well) . for just $599.99 .
 
The GTX 470 MSI is gonna be 180 or less, it looks like... AR but still.

Oh and AMAZING price on the Sennheiser HD 280 for 69.99 -- a STEAL for a fabulous set of near-studio quality headphones.
 
Antec 200 for 35 with FS? GREAT DEAL. You guys are nuts, there are tons of great deals here, and I'm only halfway through the list.

I'd sell the 4850 hopefully, but if it's really only $180 for that 470...

Would my corsair 650tx run it ok if I have my Q6600 Oc'd to 3.4? Rest of my system is normal, 1 HD, 1 Optical, 4gb Memory, 6 case fans. Not a lot of extra stuff.
 
You can run two gtx 470's if you wanted on that PSU. To answer your other question it's more than twice as fast as your 4850....
 
Full version of lightroom 3.0 for 179.99 is a steal ...... eh maybe not

Figured as much. This seems better to me than the 5870 deal, just as long as the MIR comes back.

Looks like I need to find something to do for 2hours
 
I'm all over that intel drive, that is hot! But I'm confused about when these start is says friday 12:01 am but the ad has a counter that puts it on saturday at 12:01am

Yes, your 650TX can handle that.
 
The intel drive is tested proven reliable and awesome tech. I can't say enough good things about their SSDs and I know other owners will chime in here as well. See sig.

lol isn't that the same price you can get a lifetime warranty 470 from EVGA.com, without the rebate? doesn't really seem like a great deal to me

Pretty nice system from the ground up for <$1k. Black Friday worthy deal? Ehhh maybe...maybe not. But a hell of a lot better than you would've done even a month ago. I WAS BORED...waiting for the potential buy.com 42" plasma deal (or hoax).
 
Indeed I guess I forgot newegg's price is going to update... so after midnight the MSI 470 will be $225, with a 35 rebate?
