Apple Imac as a Display: 2560x11440 in games, any support or easy edit in config?

I have noticed booting up dragon age, shift and a few others that there is not support for anything about 1920 1080 in the 16:9 format in the menus but 2460x1600 in the 16:10 section.

Would gaming on this be a problem or would simple edits to config files do it most of the time?

(this is provided the displayport starts working on the 5870pc with the imac but that's another thread)

Seriously though, I have no idea. Don't have the game, I just couldn't pass the opportunity to be a smartass.

It's 2560x1440. You will want to check widescreengamingforum.com's Game List for every game you install. Almost every game can be fixed to display widescreen properly, and the specific resolution you need usually doesn't affect the methods.

I only have a 1680x1050 monitor and still need to check WSGF for every game I install.
