Mine is a PSone perfect condition copy of Tactics Ogre. :) Great game by the way. :D
 
I have a Japanese SuperFamicom Ogre Battle cart myself. Lets see. Xenogears for PS1. Radient Silvergun...can't think of any others offhand :eek:

edit: is the original release of Chrono Cross considered rare? i have that as well

also, I have Brave Fencer Musashi... I'm pretty confident thats a rare game
 
I have Thrill Kill for the og PS.

It was dropped by the publisher as being too violent. Its pretty badass.
 
MGS, Final Fantasy IX and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis aren't rare but I paid a lot of money for them :D Man I wish they had released that Tactics Ogre: Let us cling together in EU. And Chrono Trigger. And Chrono Cross. :mad:

While I don't know if it's really rare, the most unique console I have is a Sega Nomad. I never really saw or heard about these, but one day I found them at Meijers and had to get one for traveling. It's a hand held genesis with a fantastic screen. It's got cables to plug into a TV, and even controller ports. So basically it's a portable genesis that you can use as a full console. Very cool system!
 
I would assume it's my copy of Vagrant Story. I also have FFT for the PS1, but it's the GH version.

JDAdams, I like your taste. Love the Saturn and Mega-CD / 32X games - I bet those cost a fair fortune these days.

I don't think Chrono Cross is even rare these days, at least in its GH form.
 
the only thing i own that is maybe rare is that zelda collection CD for the gamecube.
 
I had a quite a few of now-rare PS1 JRPGs back when I was in middle school and I made the stupid mistake of trading them all to what was then Funco Land at the local mall so I could have enough money for the PS2. I did save one game though, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. The only thing that's been opened is the CD case, everything else is mint. I keep it in a plastic bag away from heat and light and it's only been opened maybe 2 times in the last 5 years.

I just have the japanese Parasite Eve 2. The USA version was censored, I tried playing it but ended up getting stuck on the 2nd level because there was too many contextual stuff you needed to do to play.
 
holy crap people, he said most the rarest console game.... i know most of us, including me, didnt limit themselves to one game, dont post 20 games.... sheesh

+1 to that. My sister gave me an Atari 2600 for Christmas a few years back.

So I have ET (you can beat it in under 5 minutes :) ), Pitfall, Pole Position, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Pac-Man, Frogger, Q-bert, Berserk, Alien, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Combat and a few others I can't remember.

As for Nintendo I still have the original Final Fantasy, Mega Man, and Super Mario Bros. 3.
 
I've been selling off pretty much everything I own, so the only rare game I still have left is Meral Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes for the Game Cube.

Man I use to have some good stuff.
 
Mine is Earl Weaver baseball in DOS for the PC...

Or maybe Mean 18 in DOS for the pc... golf was 1986 I think Weaver was 1987

Is there anything special about your copy of Skies of Arcadia? I'm not really sure if that game is rare or not, though I could be wrong. Almost everybody I know, who has a Dreamcast, just so happens to have that game. :)

Anyway, for me, my rarest game is Shining Force III on the Saturn.

Skies was rare i dont think it ever really sold for less than 45, i think everyone that still has a dreamcast found a copy though, so no longer seems rare. I remember scouring stores for it, until through some freak accident i was able to get it from target of all places for 15 bucks.
Sword of Hajya is really decent too, i liked that style of games but never actually finished one until that Sword of Hajya. I have been selling a lot of my rare games but wont part with that one, or my zelda games.
 
I have a working vectrex with Space Wars and mine storm. Pretty rare I feel becouse generally when I say i have one most people have no clue what I'm talking about.
