X800 pro AGP / X800 pro PCIE

which is better...x800gt w/ a rs480 core or this x800pro? The x800gt can be crazy overclocked, although it does only 8 pipes whereas the x800pro has 12. :confused:
 
I just got a X800 with 12 at zipzoomfly.com for $134 after $30 rebate.
 
I did some research.
I found that the X800Pro outperforms the overclocked X800GT with R480 core (I compared multiple results from orb).

I found that X800Pro o/c much better than X800XL and when both are o/c-ed, X800Pro's performance wins. At stock, X800XL wins. If you are planning to get an aftermarket heatsink or watercooling, get the X800Pro.

(I'm still waiting for mine...will come by the middle of next week...)


btw, that's a very nice deal on the X800. Congrats.

i didnt think the GT was limited to one core, i thought they were a mix of varoius reject cores that didnt make it into the higher end cards

im actually thinking about getting a x800pro to oc it,but to do so, do i really need an aftermarket heatsink? and if so, is that it to oc it besides atitool?

R480, R430, R423 (or was it R432 forgot).
All Powercolor X800GT are R480 and was confirmed and was tested.
