Looking for a G3 Tower, Ideally Blue & White but a Beige could work. Needs to be able to run OSX, even if not officially.
I need a machine that will run OSX and basic design/content creation apps, if slowly, for compatibility purposes. PearPC isn't cutting it for me. (Got a well loaded dual Xeon main box so it doesn't have to be super powerful...its not going to be my mainstay)
I'd also consider an older PPC like an 8500 or 9500mp or something of that nature cause they're pretty nice, hold a ton of ram and can be upgraded reasonablly cheeply. I'd even take an iMac if the price was right.
Looking for CHEEP..or trade/free here...say under $100. Theres a few nice B&W G3 towers on ebay around the $100 price point but I'd rather deal here, and even more rather swap some PC gear out straight up. Better still, some of the above in the SF Bay Area so I don't have to pay to ship the beast. LMK what you've got!
