Windows Test Deployment Version

I seem to remember reading a few years back about a special version of Windows that was intended for testing clean software deployments on VM's. It required no license but it would kill itself after like a week of being installed. I can't find anything about it now.

I suppose I could just reinstall windows to the VM every month without a key to get the same effect, but I think the special version was supposed to wipe all account data without having to reinstall the OS.

I'm developing software and need to test deployments in different languages / region settings / and check for the required DLLs.

There's this: https://www.modern.ie/en-us/virtualization-tools . Meant to be used for web development, not sure what restrictions it actually has.
