Windows 7 & Formatting question

Just got meself a copy of Windows 7 and wanted to do a Full Format on the drive. I know that Quick Format will also allow me to install Windows 7 but that's not the case here. Everytime I go to format the drive, it only gives me the "Format" option which is basically "Quick Format." How do I access "Full Format" like in XP? Also, is there such a thing as "Diagnostics and recovery mode" in the Windows 7 DVD?

You probably don't need the full format as it only checks the hard drive for bad sectors. If you insist on doing it, you can do it with diskpart and the format command.
