will this board support 32 gigs of ram

i have this sitting around GA-MA790FXT-UD5P and was wondering if it would support 32 gigs of ram. says on the website 16gigs just wondering if anyone tried it. a buddy of mine wants to use it for a server and wants to put 32 gigs in it. i have no clue if it will work.

nvm, I should have looked at the product page first.

It has DDR3, and AMD x6's do support 32GB of RAM...it might be a bios issue or chipset limitation. Not sure though. It could simply be that there weren't 8GB DDR3 modules released when this board was made.

It's probably a combination of the two: chipset limitation and lack of 8GB RAM. Other 790FX mobos had the same limitation:
