Why is Newegg Canada shipping so slow

I ordered something on tuesday in the morning and it seems that newegg/purolator thought it would be a good idea to have my item all over the country. I live in Toronto is this the usual for newegg canada? How do you go from LA to seattle.... when i am in toronto?

That is standard transit every time I've ordered. Usually takes about a week +/-. When there isn't any problems with paperwork at customs...

Yeah I rarely even look at Canada Newegg any more. Their shipping is pretty terrible compared to the competition and the prices are usually higher.

I use ++++ primarily. Next day shipping is usually $10-15, the prices are great, and selection is awesome.

Probably based on their shipping hubs. My guess for the shipping carrier, is most of their stuff on the west is brought through customs through Vancouver than routed either north or east. It is not the first time I have seen stuff take an indirect route.
