I am building a new i7 rig, and having tough time deciding which case to go with.

LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

LIAN LI ARMORSUIT PC-P50 Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Does aluminum case does a better job in dissipating heat? Would the PC-P50 retain a better value (if I decided to sell it later on)? What other benefits would I get in getting the PC-P50 over the K62? In short, is the PC-P50 worth $60 more (from another place) than the K62?

Thanks.;)

I always prefer aluminum because I move my case around a lot. Steel is just way too heavy for me.

aluminum does tend to resonate more than steel. i.e. more noise. steel cases sit under your desk quietly. brushed aluminum cases you want to position where you can fondle regularly...

I'd go with the PC-K62 for four reasons:

1. It's all black.

2. Its hard drive mounting system is far superior to that of the PC-P50.

3. It's $60 cheaper.

4. It has a window.
