Just a quick question, I learned from some folks that they can use dry erase markers on thier display and wipe it off with no problems. Now before anyone tries this, was this for CRT or LCD? Would this work on my Dell LCD?

Some fellow graphic designers mentioned it but I didn't get too much information about the matter.

I'm pretty sure doing it on an lcd is a bad idea(that's what my video production teacher told me once), the panel is plastic as apposed to glass on a crt.

Wow, not something I would ever want to try. Just open up paint if you want to draw lol.

I wouldn't do it on an LCD, and if you do it on a CRT don't attempt to clean it off with any kind of solvent.

I wouldn't put ANYTHING on any of my displays whether CRT or LCD unless it's water or some other safe product for cleaning purposes only.. Even if a small residue is left over from the markers it would not be good..
