Hey, I'm looking to set up the PC in my room with a TV tuner so I can record TV shows. Nothing special, just something faster and more legit than *other means*. I live in Lousiville, KY so I should be be able to receive plenty of stations through antenna in HD. I also can use the family's TV cable connection. I don't really want to spend much more than a hundred $, but HD would be nice. Should I look at spending more? I was looking at the Hauppauge 1600 with WinTV bundled, but I'm not sure. Most importantly of course, is the fact that I'm running XP 64 bit, so I'll need something with drivers and compatible software. Is WinTV the way to go with this, or are there free alternatives? Thank you!
